Prakash Linga I am a 6th year graduate student in the Dept. of Computer Science at Cornell University. I am co-advised by Jayavel Shanmugasudaram (Jai), Johannes Gehrke and Ken Birman. My research interests lie in Databases and Distributed Systems. I am very excited about problems that lie in the intersection of Databases and Distributed Systems. I am an avid outdoor enthusiast. Running, Hiking, Backpacking and Skiing are some of my favourite activites! I am one of the few people in Ithaca who were unhappy that there was no snow until Jan 15th :)
